# Interesting comparison of Optionals and Null in Swift, Scala, Ceylon and Kotlin

I was not sure were to post this. Given that the nullability syntax in Kotlin appeared before anyone outside Apple knew of Swift's existence, and didn't change much since then, I think that "Swift looks similar to Kotlin" would be a better way to phrase this. :)
