# Kotlin Live template in AS 2.3 and IJ 2017

I would like to create a live template to insert a TAG property/field, e.g.

```nohighlight
companion object {
        private val TAG = $CLASS_NAME$::class.java.name
}

```

I would like to automatically insert the current class name, but it comes up blank whether I set the `Expression` or the `Default value` to _`classNameComplete()`_ in the `Edit Template Variables` dialog.

If I wish to use _`className(sClassName)`_ what should the value for _`sClassName`_ be?

PS.

I tried it scoped to Object and to Class.
