# Why two doc sites?

I mentioned Kotlin in another discussion forum and someone then posted examples from here:

Is that site made obsolete by the new one at [http://kotlinlang.org/docs/reference/&nbsp;&nbsp;?&nbsp;&nbsp;If](http://kotlinlang.org/docs/reference/%C2%A0%C2%A0?%C2%A0%C2%A0If) so, maybe it should disappear so people don’t get confused.

It is obsolete, but we'll rather mark it obsolete than break all the existing references to it. Thanks for bringing this up.

If notice that if I follow that, I might not see the new message. Maybe there’s an easy way to make it always visible, or put another in the left nav.
