You are absolutely right.
As stated here
there is a lot of activity going on out there (e.g. Microsoft) except Kotlin.
It is kind of sad that a major raising technology is overslept.
I appeal to the community.
This is also true for the toolchain - my major tool is VS Code and Kotlin support is quite poor here.
