CLion gradle support

I know CLion does not support gradle (yet, I hope). But with CLion being the official IDE for Kotlin Native and so much of Kotlin using gradle I can’t help but wishing I could use gradle in CLion as well.

So I was wondering if there is any official statement regarding gradle and CLion. I could not find any. I would hate to spend hours learning cmake (which I hear is terrible in contrast) just to get gradle support in a few months.
I mean, I plan to use kotlin native for a hobby project so I can just wait or try to get by without advanced debugging tools for a while.

There is a YouTrack issue for it but there’s not really much information about it right now.

Yeah I found that one as well. But as you said, there is no official information there, except for the fact that I am not the only one waiting for gradle support.
