Kotlin Builds iOS Example But Won't Run It in Simulator

I’m using Android Studio on an M1 Mac. Kotlin is building the sample “Hello World” project for iOS and even starts the simulator program. I’m afraid the program isn’t running anything though. Can anybody help?
