I often encounter massive slowdown when I copy and paste pieces of code to a new Kotlin file that has a lot of import errors. I have a Win 7, 8GB RAM, 4 core machine. I also always have an Android emulator running .
I am using IC-123.150 and Kotlin .4.453 with 12 plugins activated. I will try to whittle it down and see what happens.
I whittle down my plugins to absoluate necessary to the following:
- Android Designer
- Android Support
- Git Integration
- Intention Power Pack
- JUnit
- Kotlin
- Properties Support
- UI Designer(Core)
