I don't think we should only look to JetBrains for community building either. Yes, they are the center of Kotlin attention, but that is starting to change as libraries and other developers pick up steam in the Kotlin universe.
People can step up, issue more PR’s with concrete ideas, or full thought out specs that think through all the alternatives and problems not just the fun idea. But this close to 1.0, we should help test, report issues, get libraries done and cleaned up, and be ready to push Kotlin bigger as a whole.
