Is it possible to add a "code block" button to the text editor

Many new people to the site have problems formating their code. One reason for this is that there isn’t any button to add a code block to the text your writting. There are options for quotes, bold, italic, lists etc but not for code blocks.

It would be nice if there is a button for “code block”. Also “Preformated Text” could be renamed to “inline code” or something more descriptive.

While we are at it, a button for adding an interactive Kotlin code block would be nice.
