Kotlin support in Visual Studio

Does anyone know if there ever could be support for coding Kotlin in Visual Studio. Does JetBrains have any plans for developing any Visual Studio “plugin” for that?

I do not think that JetBrains is interested in supporting its rivals. And I do not think it is a good idea to invest efforts in so many directions at once. Also I think that kotlin community reached the stage, when it could provide for itself, like doing its own IDE plugins.

Maybe. I was thinking and hoping they maybe would as they are already making tools for .Net/Visual Studio.
