Is Dokka still the suggested way to generate javadoc-like docs for Kotlin? I am having the same trouble as others over a year ago where my docs are taking many minutes, externalDocumentationLink is not respected (even for URL https://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/docs/api/), the docs are in poor shape, the repo seems to have several issues and no meaningful code updates in months, etc.
Are there any efforts to improve the project? Would an alternative Kotlin documentation project be welcomed?
